Angels in Exodus examines the ways that we access love and compassion. Not merely love and compassion for one other person, but more broadly: a love and compassion that has a scope beyond a myopic lens. How do we access love for those who we do not understand? How do we access love for those who harm us? This work is an effort to open up our minds to a collective consciousness, made accessible by a shift in time and understanding. Through shifts in time, and words that confuse our reality, we are forced to expand our understanding of we. Where are we when linear time ceases to exist, when the words dont explain identity, and when the stillness of the angels meets the vigor of humanity? This work will not answer these questions, but it will allow us to linger within them.
