WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2020, 6:30 PM O'DONOGHUE'S IRISH PUB 13225 WATERTOWN PLANK ROAD ELM GROVE, WISCONSIN TICKETED ADMISSION $35 PER PERSON LIMITED TO 50 PERSONS
The first part of the evening is a whiskey education and tasting event. Sip and learn about Whiskeys of the World from local whiskey expert, John Bonfilio, while enjoying delicious appetizers. John, of Quality Spirits International, has generously donated the whiskey. The appetizers are compliments of Jamie O'Donoghue of O'Donoghue's Irish Pub.
Following the tasting, there will be a presentation by Andy Pickett. He will talk about his experience attempting to break a world land speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats in 2019. Andy went following up on a promise he made to friend Joey Haupt. They decided to try a run at a slow land speed record, on a 50cc push rod production Honda. Fiddy Joey passed away before they could go together, but with the help of Joey's daughter Haley, and the Milwaukee motorcycle community behind them, Andy moved forward in Joey's honor. With Haley as manager, crew chief, pit buddy, they went out to Bonneville and made their run at the record.
