The Kid and Karlsson Who Lives on the Roof (Swede. Lillebror och Karlsson pa taket) is the story of the Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren, the first part of the Karlson trilogy.
The story takes place in the 1950s in the central region of Stockholm - Vasastan, where two main characters live in the same house - Svante, the youngest child of the Svanteson family, nicknamed the Kid, and on the roof - Karlsson
