Lisa Verlo performs HOLLYWOODN'T a solo show and personal journey across Hollywood's unsettling sexual landscape of casting couches. Directed by and developed with Jessica Lynn Johnson in association with Whitefire Theatre as a special selection of Solofest 2020.
A sexual resume told with such candor and insight into the life of an actress before women dared to speak up. With original songs co-written with Frank Simes (Musical Director for The Who) Lisa Verlo brings a light heart to a heavy subject, and along with creative visuals and video projection Lisa will have people singing #metoo before the night is through.
HOLLYWOODNT was featured at SOLOFEST 2019, the largest solo theatre festival on the West Coast. HOLLYWOODNT, was also presented at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2019, where it won a Producers Encore Award, and received a nomination for the Larry Cornwall Award for Musical Excellence. HOLLYWOODNT was also a featured show of the Binge Fringe Festival at the Santa Monica Playhouse, November 3, 2019. Lisa is thrilled to be part of SOLOFEST 2020 this March.
