Press Play Presents: A Charity Show to end domestic violence
Come see improv comedy from Press Play and Lena Dunham and standup from Stacey Axler, all to raise money for My Sister's Place, a DC-based non-profit that seeks to end domestic violence and empower survivors to live healthy, independent lives free from violence.
When: Saturday February 1, 2020 at 7pm Where: Reliable Tavern (3655 Georgia Ave NW, Washington, DC 20010) TIckets: $15 in advance, $20 at the door CASH ONLY. A portion of every ticket will be donated to My Sister's Place.
About My Sister's Place (MSP):
For over 40 years, MSP has been an innovator in changing lives by providing DCs first hotline and first domestic violence shelter, and most recently, first Batterer Intervention group. As DCs oldest domestic violence shelter, we have served as a cornerstone of the Districts response to this pressing public health issue since 1979, and our impact on DCs community remains as strong as ever. Press Play is one of the longest running improv comedy teams in Washington DC and performs in comedy festivals around the United States and Canada, as well as private events.
About Lena Dunham:
Lena Dunham Improv is an all black improv comedy group.

Stacey Axler is a standup comedian and improviser based just outside of Washington D.C.
