Joe DeRosa: Live Album Recording (Presented by Comedians You Should Know)

National headlining comedian, Joe DeRosa, headlines two stand-up comedy shows in the Comedians You Should Know showroom at Timothy O'Toole's Pub (622 N. Fairbanks Ct.) on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 at 7 and 9:30 PM.
The shows will be produced by Comedians You Should Know, the only comedian-produced, stand-up comedy showcase to be featured in the three biggest cities in the country! The early show will be hosted by Blake Burkhart, and the late show will be hosted by Joe Kilgallon.
The early show will feature an opening set from Chelsea Hood, and the late show will feature opening sets from Samuel Priest and Sarah Vulpio.

MORE ABOUT JOE: Writer, actor, and standup comedian Joe DeRosa has become a favorite on the comedy circuit. His brand of comedy mixing brutal honesty and frustration at the workings of the world has won over comedy fans, radio listeners, and TV audiences nationwide.
In February 2013 Joe taped his second half hour special for Comedy Central, and in September of that year released his third standup comedy album You Will Die. His first two standup albums, The Depression Auction and Return of The Son of The Depression Auction, were released on Comedy Central records in 2010 and 2011 respectively. A fourth album, Mistakes Were Made: The B-Sides was released in August of 2014.
DeRosa was a writer on Netflixs highly anticipated Wet Hot American Summer TV series. He also wrote and was a featured performer on TBS acclaimed The Pete Holmes Show. Online, Joe created, wrote, and starred in Bedrockets 2013 web series We Should Break Up and the Warner Brothers web series What Are We Waiting For? In 2011 he directed and, along with fellow comedians Bill Burr and Robert Kelly, co-wrote and starred in the short film CHEAT, which premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival that year. Simon and Schuster released a book based on the film, which was written by the three, in October 2012.
In recent years, DeRosa has been seen in a recurring role on AMCs Better Call Saul, and has made appearances on Comedy Centrals Inside Amy Schumer, FXs Louie, HBOs Bored To Death, Es Chelsea Lately,and in the video game Grand Theft Auto V.
Joe headlines comedy clubs and colleges both in and out of the country and has been featured repeatedly at renowned festivals like South By Southwest, The Montreal Comedy Festival, JFL 42, The Moontower Comedy Festival, The New York Comedy Festival, Gildas Laughfest, and Bonnaroo.

The show quickly gained praise from fans and comedians alike for its unwavering commitment to presenting only the funniest Chicago comedians and visiting guests from both the alt and mainstream comedy scenes.
In 2010, they moved to a favorite downtown watering hole, Timothy O'Toole's Pub. Since then, the show has become a destination from anyone around the Chicago area.
