Jimmy Ågren is one of the best and hottest slide guitarists/musicians on this planet. Along with Ry Cooder and Sonny Landreth he is a tall head and shoulders above pretty much everyone else in the modern slide game. Local guitar wizard Henry Kaiser, hearing that Ågren would be passing through town, insisted that they put together a band to present Jimmys bluesy songs and hard rockin slide playing in-matinee at Michaels. This is a one time opportunity and not to be be missed. With Henry Kaiser on 2nd guitar, John Hanrahan on drums, and Sandor Nagyszalanczy on bass.

Jimmy and I have never met, but we have corresponded for many years. When Jimmy told me he was visiting California this year, I insisted that we put together a band to play his bluesy-rockin songs at Michaels. With myself on 2nd guitar, John Hanrahan on drums, and Sandor Nagyszalanczy on bass, we will frame Jimmys amazingly innovative playing and singing in a one-time-only chance to see him here in the USA. I promise that Jimmy will truly amaze and captivate all slide guitar enthusiasts.
