The Vagina Monologues South Lake Tahoe
V-Day South Lake Tahoe returns to the stage for the 18th year, with two unforgettable performances of The Vagina Monologues. Since 2013, V-Day South Lake Tahoe has been able to raise over $60,000 for our community to stop violence against women and girls.

Join us for an unforgettable evening in the sharing of prose, pain, love, laughter, and life. Our cast is made up of community members, students, mothers, daughters, sisters, new-to-the-stage and seasoned performers. V-Day is a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls, by raising funds and awareness. Productions like this and other V-Day benefit events organized by volunteer activists take place around the world, educating millions of people about the reality of violence against women and girls.
Our goal for 2020 is to raise $15,000 for Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Survivors in our community.
The award-winning play The Vagina Monologues is based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Enslers interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace, the production celebrates womens sexuality and strength. Over the last 20 years, through this play and the liberation of this one word, countless women throughout the world have taken control of their bodies and their lives.
