Ladies of Flame: Natural Woman
The Ladies of Flame first gathered in 2010 to perform a program of torch songs to benefit Freeport Community Centers Burn the Mortgage fund. Now theyre back for their tenth anniversary concert, as hot as ever!
Titled Natural Woman Torch Songs by any other name, their first performance at Cadenza includes original ladies and new ladies with songs ranging from wistful to powerful.
Led this year by music director and accompanist Jane Bradley, the 2020 Ladies of Flame are Lisa Bossi, Katrina Crowell, Johanna DeGrandpre, Ellen Ebert, Elizabeth Guffey, Janelle LoSciuto, and Janie Downey Maxwell.
Come in from the cold as the Ladies heat up Maine's long winter. A portion of funds raised will go to the Arts & Cultural Alliance of Freeport.
Tickets are $12.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door.
