Pippin
The Atlantic County Institute of Technology presents the musical PIPPIN on March 5, 6, and 7 at 7pm, and March 7 at 2pm. Tickets are being sold in advance at www.acitech.org and at the door for Adults $15 and Students/Senior Citizens $10.
There will also be a special VIP option for dinner prior to the show on Friday, March 6. These tickets must be purchased in advance online.
Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power (after disposing of his father, King Charlemagne the Great). In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the unextraordinary moments that happen every day. His story is played out by a troupe of players.
**Parental Guidance: This show is rated PG-13 and contains some language, and jokes or references to war, sex, and religion.
