Mr. Henrys is excited to launch this new monthly series. Starting in February, Chris Grasso and his trio perform the third Friday of every month with a different guest artist
each month. First up, Chris features one of the areas most popular performers, the wonderful vocalist Lena Seikaly. Named one of Washingtons preeminent jazz singers
"brightest voices in jazz" (The Washington Post), as well as a major league young talent in jazz"(Duke Ellingtons biographer, Dr. John Hasse), Lena is making her mark in national and international jazz circles as a revivalist of traditional jazz vocals, as well as an innovator in contemporary vocal jazz styles. He has performed with Keter Betts, Carmen Bradford, Kenny Garrett, Nicole Henry, Buck Hill, Marlon and Stephanie Jordan, Nicki Parrott, Ken Peplowski, Bucky Pizzarelli, Chuck Redd, Joshua Redman, Avery Sharpe,
Suede, Denise Thimes, Frank Vignola, Bobby Watson, Cassandra Wilson, Matt Wilson and more.
