Coming to the Aromas Grange Hall for their first-ever appearance: BACKYARD BIRDS

The Aromas Community Grange takes great pride in presenting, for the first time, the very popular local group BACKYARD BIRDS. We are hoping that this will be the first of many visits to our Grange Hall. Coming off of a visit to the Poster Room at the Los Lobos show at the Filmore in San Francisco in January 2020, the group are excited to be able to play in our 107-year-old Aromas Grange Hall!!
Backyard Birds performs its fresh blend of vocal harmonies in a wide range of music, from Americana, rock and roll, country and soul to jazz standards and surprising songs you'll be singing all the way home. They love to uncover great, overlooked songs in three-part harmony.
Linda Baker (vocals and electric guitar), Jean Catino (vocals and ukulele), June Coha (vocals and ukulele), Larry Prather (bass) and Linc Russin (mandolin) formed in Santa Cruz in 2017, and have performed at Michaels on Main, Chaminade Resort and Spa, Davenport Roadhouse, and Felton Music Hall, among other venues. This time they will be joined by special musical guest Dan Frechette on drums!
The three women's close-knit harmonies and the band's acoustic stylings have drawn comparisons to Rosanne Cash and the T Sisters, and their discerning selection of diverse and eclectic material is unique. Their shows include songs by Richard Thompson, Anna McGarrigle, First Aid Kit, Strawberry Alarm Clock, the Louvin Brothers, Imelda May, the Zombies, and the Beatles.

This concert will be a benefit for the beautiful 107-year-old Aromas Community Grange Hall, located at the corner of Rose and Bardue Avenues in Aromas, CA.
We will be featuring the Aromas Granges famous Roast Chicken Dinner (not included in the ticket price): Chicken, baked potato, green salad & vegetarian beans with homemade cookies for dessert.
We will also be selling premium beers and wines, coffee, tea & juice drinks.
The show will start at 4:30 PM, with the doors opening at 3:30 PM for dinner. Tickets are available for only $15 GENERAL ADMISSION seating. Purchase either online at brownpapertickets.com or at Marshalls Market in Aromas (no service fee). Tickets will be $20 at the door (if they are available).
