COTE: The Rehabilitation of Richard Neutra's Arboretum
Join us to discuss the re-purposing on the Crystal Cathedral Campus into the Christ Cathedral Campus. Rob Neal, the representative from the Christ Catholic Cathedral Corporation will discuss some of the complexities of receiving the architectural legacy of Dr. Robert Schuller. Dennis Allison of Cannon Building will describe some of the challenges in the reconstruction of an architectural icon. Jim Wirick of LPA, Inc. will convey the complexity of returning the building to its 'period of significance ' while technologically bringing it into alignment with today's building systems.
