Cirque de la Lune! Live @ The Howland!
The Howland Cultural Center, Beacon's unparalleled arts and entertainment venue, now celebrating its 40th Anniversary, is pleased to present a performance of acclaimed composer Hayden Wayne's Cirque de la Lune, an original musical production in two acts, featuring Kelly Ellenwood, Rhiannon and Rowan Parsaca, Leah Siegel and Michael Bonanno.
Hayden Wayne is a composer of serious art music who comes from a background of popular music through his performance with various bands most notably, Jubriath, among many others. He has written over 400 works, including ten symphonies, ten string quartets and two full-length operas
Kelly Ellenwood is a Broadway veteran who has appeared in Phantom of The Opera, A Christmas Carol, etc.
Audiences will remember Rhiannon Parsaca (Peter Pan, Grease, etc.), Leah Siegel (Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, etc.) and Michael Bonanno (Grease, The Who's Tommy, etc.) in from principal roles in past Beacon Player Productions.
Cirque de la Lune is an allegorical tale of a man telling the story of his own life through a series of component acts in circus metaphor, somewhat like an Aesop's Fable.
