Uniquely mixing Indie Rock with flares of funk, pop, and RnB, Los Elks razor sharp sound and high energy performances drew attention, and it wasnt long before they were playing sold out bills throughout the region. The bands fresh approach to songwriting, which brings musical edge to creative pop numbers, has even landed them in Spotifys U.S Viral 50 chart and accrued over 1,000,000 streams. From sold out tour dates and festival appearances, to backyard acoustic gigs in the heart of Boston, Los Elk is a dynamic four piece that can be found tearing it up with their motley crew of die hard fans and friends.
About Substyle: Originally a duo instrumental group playing coffee house music in a small town in central Wisconsin, Substyle has greatly expanded its quest to produce and explore many genres of music including funk, pop, reggae and soul. After the initial members; keyboardist Matt Reif and guitarist Harold Melo realized their potential, vocalist Cayli Ballenger stepped onto the scene to elevate the group and take Substyle to new heights. Eventually joined by their new rhythm section with Lucas Fischer on drums and Jordan Miles on bass, the group has been tirelessly gigging and writing original music to express each members unique musicality and personal story they bring. -------------------------------------------------------------- We want everyone to feel safe and welcome at this event, as well as all other shows at Gibson Music Hall.
