ABOUT THE FILM:
The Story of Plastic is a seething expose, uncovering the ugly truth behind plastic pollution and the false solution of plastic recycling. Different from every other plastic documentary youve seen, The Story of Plastic presents a cohesive timeline of how we got to our current global plastic pollution crisis and how the oil and gas industry has successfully manipulated the narrative around it.
Depicting a world rapidly becoming overrun with toxic material, The Story of Plastic brings into focus an alarming, man-made crisis. Forays to sites as far-flung as China, Indonesia, India, and the Philippines, in addition to US locales, point to the disastrous impact of the manufacture and use of plastics.
