Comedy on Elm Street with Frank Santorelli from The Sopranos, Paul Gilligan, Pheobe Angle, Andrew Della Volpe
Frank Santorelli from The Sopranos and the fantastic Paul Gilligan top another great comedy bill at Elm Draught House Cinema, Elm Street, Millbury, presented by Scamps Comedy. Showtime is 9:30 and tickets are $15 in advance $18 at the door. Tickets are available on line, by calling (800) 838-3006, or at the theater during business hours.
A former class clown who was voted "Loudest" in his senior class in high school, Frank Santorelli has performed around the East Coast as well as comedy hotspots in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York City. As an actor, he had a recurring role as the hapless bartender Georgie in HBOs iconic The Sopranos. He was a finalist in the NBC series Last Comic Standing and performed standup on NBC and on Comedy Central. As an actor, he's appeared on all three versions of Law & Order series, as well as Spin City, Las Vegas, and the hit movie Meet the Parents.
Paul Gilligan is one of the most requested headliners in Boston, bringing down the house with an attitude developed as a high school class clown, and with material culled from his life as a licensed electrician, husband and father. In addition to working Boston clubs, golf tournaments, fundraisers, roasts, and other events, Gilligan is a regular performer at the Riviera Casino in Las Vegas. He's appeared on Charlie Moore Outdoors and Dirty Water TV for NESN, and at the Hampton Beach Comedy Festival. He is often requested to work for trade association groups.
Edgy and charming, Phoebe Angle offers comedy audiences a mix of bizarre true stories and offbeat antidotes. A Maine transplant now living in Boston, she is regular on the New England scene, and has appeared at several festivals, including the Boston Comedy Festival, Seattle International Comedy Festival, and Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival. In addition to standup, she has written for the website UnsceneComedy.com.
Andrew Della Volpe tried stand-up comedy while working as an intern at Sacha Baron Cohens Four by Two Films while studying government at Colby College, and has never gone back to thoughts of a serious job. He performs on a near-nightly basis throughout New England and Boston and has become one of the fastest rising talents in the city. Hes performed in the prestigious Hampton Beach Comedy Festival, and at the Palace Theatre in Manchester (N.H.) and Wilbur Theatre in Boston.
