In 1980 the Lost Nation Band String Band moved to the Bayfield Peninsula and became the band to listen and dance to. Join us for the 2nd annual tribute show with members of the original group and friends to celebrate the release of 'Lost Nation String Band Live at the Redwood Inn.' The songs on the CD display the incredible talents of this legendary group. The Lost Nation String Band was formed by Warren and Don in 1978 in the Madison, WI area where they met Bruce and added Jack. Their first Album was recorded there. This new CD comes from a performance in Fairmont, MN in 1982. Some of their classics are on this recording, including Tennessee Stud, Whiskey Before Breakfast, Hotel Hustle, Streamlined Cannonball and Lonesome Fiddle Blues.
