Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise Friday and Saturday Combo Ticket
This is a combination ticket for 2 shows on Friday and Saturday night. Both shows start at 8pm and end at 10pm. Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise return to The Living Room for a special weekend of music that they curated. Friday night with Fawziyya Heart and Floco Torres. Saturday night with Lyn Rye & Ben Burden and Walk Talk.
About Kuf Knotz & Christine Elise: MC/poet/songwriter Kuf Knotz and classically trained harpist/guitarist/pianist/vocalist Christine Elise have combined forces to create a new album. The unlikely pair connected and built the project with a similar vision, wanting to create positive, forward thinking music driven by a strong message. Both individuals are intrinsically motivated to foster community growth through musical expression. They offer motivational creative arts workshops and performances at various settings such as hospitals, schools and community centers. About Fawziyya Heart: Fawziyya started off on the Philadelphia music scene in 2012 by performing with various bands and dipping her feet in the music. She performed, recorded and wrote several songs with global house music collective World Town Sound System alongside Grammy Award winning percussionist Pablo Batista. For the last year Fawziyya has been hard at work readying her new EP, featuring her own original songs and an array of Philly talent. About Lyn Rye & Ben Burden: Lyn Rye is a bassist, singer and composer currently based in Chicago, IL. She frequently collaborates with OneBeat, a program funded by the U.S. State Department that brings together artists from around the world to create socially-engaged, original music and tour with performances and educational workshops. Scapi Magazine writes: "As a versatile bassist who plays with folk, jazz, hip-hop, and rock musicians, Rye is someone who can create genuine newness.
