2020 OVATION! Awards

The OVATION! Awards was created to acknowledge and celebrate outstanding musical theatre production in the lower mainland of Vancouver both professional and amateur.

Celebrating and featuring numbers from the musicals of 2019, the awards show will be held at the Vancouver Academy of Music on Sunday January 26th. There is plenty of pay/meter parking at the venue in Kitsilano across from the Vancouver Museum.

There is a pre-show reception beginning at 7PM followed by the awards show featuring performances from many of the 2019 musicals at 8PM.

The overall goal is promotion of community spirit, and recognition of the many people that make up the musical theatre community in the lower mainland.

Some of the awards are chosen by the general public, where others are chosen by a jury made up of nominated members of the music theatre community of the Lower Mainland.
