"Dreaming in American" presented by The Tales of the Alchemysts Theatre Company
Local professional actors and musicians perform three stories by renowned Jewish novelists: Sholem Asch, Bernard Malamud, and Anzia Yezierska. Using music and spoken word the 90-minute production explores the Jewish immigration and assimilation experience of the last century depicting dreams lost, found and transformed in circumstances that still resonate among immigrant populations today.
Sponsored, in part, by the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle.
Tales of the Alchemysts Theatre is fiscally sponsored by Shunpike.
