FLAMENCO FOR KIDS AND ADULTS

Express your passion, creativity, and imagination. Is a fun and friendly way to experience the power of flamenco up close and personal, practice your Spanish and meet new people. No experience necessary!

Flamenco for Children (6-12 years old): This class introduces "braceo" arm movement, "zapateado" footwork, "flores" hand movements, and "vueltas" turns that will initiate techniques for "Sevillanas".

Flamenco for Adults: This group dance class focuses on enhancing elasticity in the upper body, boosting joint movement, and increasing leg strength through body motion accompanied by flamenco rhythms and music while working on all aspects of flamenco dance technique, castanets, footwork, arm work, and turn. We will take you through the basics of flamenco technique, movement phrases and flamenco rhythms.
