The Nick Mather Experiment
Fri Jan 24 | 8pm Advance | $12 Day Of Show | $15
Nick Mather has been a long time guitar enthusiast, playing for over 20 years. He studied and worked with classical guitarists the University of Maine from 2004-2011, and left for other musical endeavors in Connecticut in 2012 when he created the band Big Charlie's Rubber Band. The band was a success and the members decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee to immerse themselves in one of the best music scenes in the country. Although the band broke up in 2017, Nick rearranged some of his favorite songs for this solo acoustic set. In addition to these arrangements, Nick also performs classical pieces by the likes of Bach, Brouwer, Torroba, and Tarrega. His high energy and his 'What's he gonna do next?" on-stage persona has intrigued his audiences for a unique experience unlike any other acoustic show you will see. This will be a show to remember!
