Event
The Lovers with Tyler Sjöström
Skyflight Productions presents an evening with The Lovers on Thursday July 30, 2020 at The Albert S. George Youth Center at Barnesville Memorial Park in Barnesville, OH. The Lovers duo featues Amanda June and Cole Vosbury, two singer-songwriters who met in Nashville back in 2014 shortly after Coles Top 4 appearance on NBCs The Voice Season 5. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Amandas love for music and passion for singing brought her to Nashville to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter & to develop herself as an artist when she was only 18. Cole, a Louisiana native, went on to lay roots in Nashville as well after his time on The Voice. Cole has been playing music and producing since he can remember. He is a master of his craft and plays multiple instruments including piano, drums and guitar. His style stands out with a soulful, intriguing gravelly voice that compliments his blues, rock, pop influence on guitar. In 2016 The Lovers was officially created & you could say it was in the cards. After the two had been touring around the states and cowriting with each other, they realized there was an effortless magic happening on and off stage. They have an undeniable sound and unforgettable look. Together they are seamless, each artist's voice complementing the other's wonderfully. The Lovers tour most of the year as full time independent artists and are working on their first EP to be released soon.
Tyler Sjöström will be special guest opening for The Lovers on Thursday July 30, 2020! Tyler Sjöströms gritty vocals and vintage arrangements have reverberated from the Chicago music scene since the release of his freshman EP, What We Say We Are, at the end of 2014. Following his debut, rooted in Americana and Folk, Tylers track Red River was given EDM treatment with collaborator, Chris Meid, and signed as a single with Warner Music. Following was a slew of collaborations from across the globe resulting in tens of millions of streams on Spotify alone. Since, Sjöström has taken his new role as Singer-Songwriter to heart, working with DJs and producers around the world developing a taste and adeptness for topline writing, studio work, and live performance.
As a multi-instrumentalist and avid songwriter, Tyler finds his niche in spanning the genres, and in terms of music he is keen on distinguishing himself as a jack of all trades. Equipped with an honest and thunderous voice his live performance has been described as bone rattling. Hes shared the stage with Judah and The Lion, Joseph, The Mighty Oaks, The Secret Sisters, Corey Kilgannonto name a few.
With studio work nearly done for a new album and several collaborative tracks in the works, 2020 is looking very good for Tyler Sjöström.
