Marigny Opera Ballet - Paul Taylor's AUREOLE
Marigny Opera Ballet's third program for the season includes two contemporary ballets:
AUREOLE Legendary choreographer Paul Taylor created Aureole in 1962. It is one of the most respected dance works of the time, for its grace and technical difficulty. DIALOGUES IN G MAJOR Gambit-Award nominee Gretchen Erickson presents a world premiere: a joyous work set to Bach's Cello Suite Number One. Accompanied by LPO cellist Philip von Maltzahn.
