Dancers and listening audiences alike have long enjoyed Eric Eid-Reiner's innovative piano accompaniment, melody playing, and compositions. A part of the Boston area music scene most of his life, Eric plays throughout the country at contra dances, concerts, weddings, festivals, and synagogues. He performs solo, as a member of The Moving Violations and The Reiner Family Band, and with fiddlers including Autumn Rose Lester, Audrey Knuth, Liz Faiella, and David Kaynor. Celtic Beat has recognized Eric for his "superb craftsmanship on the keys". In a review of his most recent CD, fRoots Magazine wrote: "Eid-Reiner is a pianist whose accompanying style veers from Irish piano driving of the '60s to Cape Breton inflections, while his soloing borrows from Mícheál
Ó Súilleabháin and Tracey Dares equally. Musically, the swing of Irish, Canadian, New England and Scottish tunes suggests a rich trawl."

Autumn Rose Lester is a versatile fiddler whose passion for traditional fiddle music is clear from the energy and infectious joy of her playing. Autumn Rose feels at home playing Irish, Old Time Appalachian, French Canadian, New England, and contemporary contra dance music. She can frequently be found in contra dance halls around the Northeast performing with Eric Eid-Reiner (of The Moving Violations), Everest Witman (of Nova), Laurie Hart and Tim Ball, and with many other musical collaborators. Autumn Rose will join Eric for the second half of this concert.
