Murdarrr on the Spanish Main!! (the Climax of Deadgood Week)
Murdarrr on the Spanish Main is a unique, immersive experience with mystery, treasure seeking, naval battles, and lots of people shouting "ARRR!" loudly.
Brought to you by Deadgood Events, Maplewood's own tame crazy Brits, and written by the man behind the sell-out panto "Arrr! A Very British Pantomime".
You will be the captain or crew of your own nefarious pirate ship, scheming against all the other pirate crews to be the ones to claim the most treasure, and to find out who foully murdered Jack Minnow. And to sink the enemy!
More fun than walking the plank on a greasy pogo stick, "Murdarrr on the Spanish Main" is like absolutely nothing you've ever done before.
Dressing up as Pirates is optional, but very welcome. Having a great time is compulsory.
This is the stunning climax of Deadgood Week - a week where we showcase some of the huge variety of ways we and Maplewood (and anyone else too) can have fun together.
The week starts with a free first glimpse of this year's Panto, continues with an Improv Comedy evening, then a game show, a one-man show giving a comic twist to ancient bardic tales, and finally Murdarrr!
There are "sailings" at 3pm and 7pm.
