About the Film
Abraham Solomon-OdehAvram to his Israeli-Jewish maternal family, Ibrahim to his Palestinian-Muslim paternal family, and Abraham to his Brooklyn parents prefer to be called, well, Abe. A 12-year old with a passion for cooking (and a food blog Abe Cooks), Abe is tired of mediating between the sides of his politically-at-odds family. When Abe meets Chico, an Afro-Brazilian chef from Bahia, whose Mix It Up kitchen features a fusion of South American, Jamaican, and New York flavors, things get cooking. Searching for a catalyst that could bring his family together, Abe wonders if the flavors and foods of his grandparents' homeland might do the trick.

Sponsor Benefit Tickets can be booked online up to 3 hours in advance of each film and event.
Some venues may have limited seating, but we will do our best to accommodate all Sponsor requests provided they arrive 20 minutes prior to showtime. Sponsors with tickets and general admission ticket holders will be seated first followed by Sponsors without pre-ordered tickets.
