Join us for the CD Release of "Heart in the Moonlight" from Sara Softich!
"I have been recording "Heart in the Moonlight" over the past 2 years at Sparta Sound on Minnesota's Iron Range. Sparta sound is located in an old church in the abandoned mining town of Sparta. It is an album about my connection to Minnesota and New Mexico. I revived old songs throughout my career and was inspired to write new songs after finding my old voice recorder in a drawer a few years back. It connects my love of home to my love of the wild west. The recording process allowed me to re-connect with musicians throughout my 20 years of playing in bands. This project has been the highlight of my musical career. It is the album closest to my heart and I have enjoyed every minute of recording it. Guest musicians sparkle throughout the album. I am so excited to send this out into the world!"
