Thousands of Thanks
Thousands of Thanks Thursday, October 10th Join us for eye opening and informative Eco-District walking tours of the Bellingham Waterfront. Tours begin at 4:30, 5:00 or 5:30 at the dead end on Central Ave. behind the old Grainery.
Wear close toed shoes and dress for weather as we'll be outside most of the afternoon. Bring an umbrella if it's raining. We will learn about the selection of the plans for new development on our waterfront, meet with selected guests who will discuss the potential for micro-hydro, water reuse and district energy, public use space, adaptive reuse of the grainery among other redevelopment considerations.
Then tours will end at Chuckanut Brewery and Kitchen where we will have a BBQ in the open air, drink some great local brews, rub some elbows and discuss what we learned about our new waterfront.
Please RSVP here or call Erin @ 647-7-zero-93. Parking is mainly on street, there is a small angle in parking on C St. toward the Maritime Heritage Fish Hatchery.
