Medicinal Mushroom Talk and Walk with Christopher Hobbs and Brian Kie Weissbuch
Join Dr. Christopher Hobbs, Ph.D., L.Ac. and Brian Kie Weissbuch L.Ac., AH.G., on January 18, 2020, for a talk, walk,
and demonstration on the nutritional and health benefits of fungi, both wild and cultivated, in this benefit for the Sonoma County Herb Association.
We will begin the day with a talk from 10 - noon. After a lunch break we reconvene at a sweet spot for a walk in the woods seeking out our allies in the communities of fungi.
Spend time in the field with Christopher Hobbs and Brian Kie Weissbuch L.Ac for a
field walk and foray that will help you identify edible, medicinal, and toxic species.

Dr. Christopher Hobbs, PhD, L.Ac., A.H.G. is a fourth generation, internationally known herbalist, writer and speaker, licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, clinician, teacher, research scientist, dietary industry constant, botanist and mycologist and author of many books, including Medicinal Mushrooms. with 35 years experience.
Brian Kie Weissbuch L.Ac., AH.G. is an herbalist and acupuncturist in private practice in Northern California since 1991. Cofounder of KW Botanicals Inc. in San Anselmo, CA. Brian has 45 years of experience as a botanist, western herbalist and formulator of proprietary extracts for Eastern and Western Practitioners.
