SU HART - RAINFOREST SINGING WORKSHOP

Su has spent many years working closely with the Baka Rainforest People in Africa and provides a rare and authentic opportunity for us to sing the music of the rainforest together . She is an accomplished musician who has created extraordinary global music fusion combining Celtic music with the music of the BAKA tribe.
Su is a Singing leader running UK community choirs in Bath, Bruton and London but also works internationally. 25 years of visiting Baka Rainforest People in Africa has inspired joyful singing workshops from this unbroken musical culture. The Baka are thought to be the first humans to sing. The techniques of singing rainforest style build community, it is a beautiful interlocking of sound and is simple accessible rhythmic and fun. Su is initiated by the Baka women to share this singing and royalties go back to them for projects in the forest.
The workshop builds co-operative and listening and rhythm skills, great for choir sound melding and learning new singing techniques of forest yodelling
