The Light of Hope - Reception Following
Tuesday, January 28th, at 7:00, the festival moves to Fairhope and the USA Performance Center with the drama, The Light of Hope. an inspiring drama of resistance and sacrifice. The film tells the harrowingly true story of Elizabeth Eidenbenz, a Red Cross nurse who risked her own life to save the lives of hundreds of Jewish mothers and infants during WW ll, providing refugees shelter and safety from the Nazis. Eidenbenz has been awarded the status of Righteous Among the Nations by the state of Israel.
