City Front Bay Cruise and Book Release Party
Inaugural "City Front" Bay Cruise and Book Release Party for "Hidden San Francisco: A Guide to Lost Landscapes, Unsung Heroes, and Radical Histories" by Chris Carlsson (Pluto Press, London: 2020). This first tour is a special benefit for Shaping San Francisco, a boat tour from Pier 52 northward to Coit Tower, and then all the way south past Candlestick Point before returning along San Francisco's bayshore to Pier 52. Chris Carlsson will present historical tales along the way, highlighting many hidden stories that populate the ever changing bayshore. He'll be conducting these "City Front" boat tours twice a month starting in March, but this will be the first one. Better yet, this journey includes a signed copy of his just-released "Hidden San Francisco" for each attendee, and libations are also included.
