Burlesque star, Melody Jane, reveals her new show--The Violet Hour. With show-tunes from the Great American Songbook, Ms. Jane presents pieces by Porter, Arlen, Berlin, Kern, and more! Through these songs well look at love, sex and femininity--all its lust, love, expectations and droopy disappointments. Joined by surprise special guests!

Melody Jane is a New York City-based performing artist, writer, and producer. Recent credits include: Penny Arcade's Bitch!Dyke!Faghag!Whore! (2019 Australian Tour, Joe's Pub, P.S.122) The Panto Projects Jack & The Beanstalk (Abrons Art Center), I'll Say She Is: The Lost Marx Brothers Musical (Off-Broadway), & Ziegfeld's Midnight Frolic (Off-Broadway). Melody's independent work has been showcased in The New Yorker Presents television series and has also been featured in the following publications: ArtNews, Bedford+Bowery, Broadly, and Nerve.
