ARPETRIO:
Arpetrio is a breath of fresh air for the live electronic scene. Their sound is one of a kind and draws from a broad range of influence while always staying true to themselves and their music. This dynamic three piece has been extensively touring the east coast from Boston to Miami and everything in between. Described by fans as "pushing the boundaries of electronica, jazz and jam music," The band strives on a diverse sound that encapsulates the most popular and modern trends of electronic music. Arpetrio consists of guitarist/keyboardist Alex Mindermann, Bassist Trent Little, and drummer Wes Taylor. The combination of raw creativity with years of classical training has allowed this band to push the envelope more and more. Arpetrio combines the precision of a DJ with the vivid expression of a live band creating an unparalleled fusion experience. The pulsing bass beats combined with the technology of laptops and sophisticated production tools, result in the finest elements of jam, electronica, jazz-fusion, trip-hop, and psychedelic music.
This three piece powerhouse is no stranger to the finest in electronic music, sharing the stage with acts such as Shpongle, Conspirator, Victor Wooten, Zach Deputy, Nappy Roots, Eliot Lipp, EOTO, RJD2, Eskmo, Future Rock, Toubab Krewe, Nosaj Thing, Signal Path, Papadosio, Dr. Fameus, and Zoogma. They have been seen across the east coast playing festivals like Trinumeral, Rootwire, Werkout, Dexfest, and Gnarnia Festival. Audiences can feel the energy from each successive beat and are forced to move their feet. With each show, Arpetrio continues to experiment with new combinations of technology and musicianship resulting in a wildly unique experience every time.

FORMER CHAMPIONS:
Former Champions are an electro rock band based out of Richmond, Virginia. Their music showcases vocal led compositions intermixed with an array of instrumentally driven electronic pieces. A sonic blend of synthesized keys mixed with sub-bass, distorted guitar, harmonized vocals, samples, and a multitude of drums, cymbals and percussion combine to create what the band describes as "street music."
2013 looks to be an exciting year for Former Champions as they release their second studio album, Special FX Machine, and continue hitting the road with a heavy tour schedule including appearances at several festivals across the country. FC have shared the stage with artists including Lotus, The New Deal, Conspirator, EOTO, Perpetual Groove, Papadosio, Dopapod, and many others. Keep your eyes out for Former Champions, as they keep the pedal to the metal in 2013.
