We offer you two opportunities to enjoy Yangsze Choo:

VIP Meet & Greet Reception/Writers Present Ticket for 1 Admission:
Meet the lovely Yangsze Choo up close and personal at a VIP Meet & Greet Reception with light appetizers and a glass of wine/sparkling cider hosted by the Friends of the Mission Viejo Library beginning at 6 p.m. on Wed., Jan. 29, 2020 in the Library's Heritage Room, 100 Civic Center.  Your ticket includes a signed trade paperback of The Night Tiger and reserved seating at the 7pm Writers Present talk.



VIP Ticket - $21 includes:
     1 admission
     VIP Meet & Greet Reception (see above description)
     1 signed trade paperback of The Night Tiger
     Reserved VIP Seating in VIP section, first-come first-served

Writers Present Book Talk (Free Admission):
The Writers Present book talk begins at 7 p.m. followed by Q & A and book signing. It will take place at City Hall, 200 Civic Center, Mission Viejo. Those purchasing a book before the program begins on site will have signing priority over those who do not purchase a book on site.

Other Notes:
1. VIP Meet & Greet ticket holders and then those purchasing a book on site for the Writers Present program will receive priority seating and signing in that order.
2. General Admission (free) seating section, first-come first-served.  
 


About The Night Tiger and Yangsze Choo
New York Times bestselling author, Yangsze Choo, will make a very special appearance as part of the Librarys Writers Present Series on January 29, 2020 at 7pm in the Mission Viejo Council Chamber. She will be discussing her upcoming paperback release, The Night Tiger about superstitions, mythology and forbidden love.

Set in 1930s Colonial Malaysia, this beautiful and mesmerizing book is steeped in Chinese culture. Yangsze Choo is the New York Times best-selling author of The Ghost Bride which is currently under film production with Netflix. The Night Tiger was featured on NPR and was selected as a Reese Witherspoon Hello Sunshines Book Club Pick, an Amazon Spotlight Pick for Best Book of the Month as well as starred Kirkus, Booklist, and Publisher's Weekly reviews.

Yangsze Choos main presentation is free and open to public. The ticketed VIP Reception includes light hors doeuvres, wine and sparkling cider as well as a signed paperback copy of The Night Tiger.  VIP attendees will have reserved seating at the 7pm Writers Present talk.

Books will be sold on site by Creating Conversations. We hope to see you there!
