the Washington Wind Symphony presents "Connections"
Join us Saturday night as the Washington Wind Symphony's new conductor, Jacob Scherr, leads the band at Redmond Performing Arts Center. You'll hear the wind ensemble worldwide premier of Kit Mills beautiful composition "Beyond the Desert Sands", "Blue Shades" by Frank Ticheli, and audience favorite "Variations on a Korean Folk Song" by John Barnes Chance, along with other popular wind band selections.
Band bio
The Washington Wind Symphony comprises 45-50 dedicated musicians who gather once a week for the pure enjoyment of the preservation of classic wind band literature. Performing a four-concert season at Redmond's intimate Performing Arts Center, the musicians have gained popularity on the Eastside of Seattle.
