HANUKKAH presented by Cult Classics
Cult Classics launches our Friday Night Frights series with a special Sid Haig tribute - the Arizona premiere of HANUKKAH, Sid Haig's final film which is a Torah-fying Tale of Horah on Friday, December 13th at Silver Cinemas!
Obediah Lazarus is the son of Judah Lazarus (Sid Haig), the original Hanukkiller. In 1983 Judah terrorized NY for seven nights and was preparing to sacrifice his eight-year-old son, Obediah, on the eighth night. Judah was convinced it was Gods will, like Abraham and Isaac, to sacrifice his only son to God. Luckily for Obediah, police tracked Judah down and stopped the sacrifice, but Judah was gunned down in the process. Warped by hatred with no guidance, Obediah Lazarus becomes a religious extremist, intolerant of non-Jews, bad Jews, and those he perceives to be enemies of the Jewish faith. He is about to unleash eight nights of horror!
We'll have prints for the film as well as prizes and more, PLUS! We'll have an exclusive lobby card and we'll be launching a commemorative Sid Haig inspired Cult Classics horror logo t-shirt for Fright Night Fridays at this event which you can bundle with your ticket!
