The Sitcom Trials

Back by popular demand after this year's sell-out show at Bath Comedy Festival, The Sitcom Trials is the comedy show where brand new sitcoms compete and the audience chooses the winner.

Five short sitcoms will be performed with scripts in hand, each one leading up to a cliffhanger that will leave the audience wanting to see more. In between, the the audience supply their ideas for brand new sitcoms in a "Pitch Fest" - the best idea will win a prize and be improvised at the end!

Since 1999 The Sitcom Trials has enjoyed successful runs at Edinburgh Fringe, national and international touring shows, and an 8 part TV series on ITV1. Past performers include Miranda Hart, Richard Vranch and the Comedy Store Players, Tony Robinson (Baldrick), Cariad Lloyd, Sara Pascoe, Russell Howard, The Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre, Lucy Porter, McNeil and Pamphilon.and many more!
