==============================
Il Campiello translates roughly to little square, and the little Venetian square at the centre of this story frames a small but vital world overflowing with love, jealousy, and the desire for play.
With the arrival of the yearly Carnival, the rules of the city and society briefly pause. The inhabitants of the square have the opportunity to potentially reverse their fortunes for good. A series of lively fights, games, and schemes ensue, raising questions about the use of public space, the expression of joy, the way hope shapes our daily lives.
