EURYDICE
Sarah Ruhls rhapsodically beautiful Eurydice reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice journeys to the underworld - the likes of Alices Wonderland - where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. With contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists, and breathtaking imagery and effects, the play is a weird and wonderfully fresh look at a timeless fable about love, loss, and the pleasures and pains of memory. This luminous retelling, lush and limpid as a dream, journeys through the magical, some- times menacing and always thrilling flow of the unconscious. PERFORMANCES: November 20th - 23rd @ 7:30 pm and November 23rd @ 2:00 pm
