Sarasota Folk Club Holiday of Song
Join the Sarasota Folk Club for their Annual Holiday Celebration. This year the event will feature Mindy Simmons and the 2PM Band. There is no open Mic.
Mindy plays 7pm 8pm, and
2PM (2 Petes and a Mike) play 8:30pm 9:30pm.
People bring holiday treats to share (mostly sweets).
A dose of singer/songwriter Mindy Simmons is just what the laugh doctor ordered. She is truly a genuine performer who guides her audience down the bumpy road of life smiling all the way. Mindy combines quick wit and charm with a voice that moves flawlessly from satin smooth to gutsy, creating a memorable performance that feels like an evening with your best friend. Sing along on some of the holiday classics!
2PM is Pete Price, Pete Hennings, and Mike Jurgensen, a trio of talented musicians who blend their varied musical talents into an eclectic mix of material, from original songs, to obscure covers, to well-known standards. The combination of Pete, Pete, and Mike as 2PM is a unique trio that has delighted audiences at acoustic venues and folk festivals around the state of Florida. They are going to wow you!
Doors Open at 6:00pm.
Food Truck will have food available for purchase.
Beer, Wine, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee and tea are available for purchase.
This is a Rental and NOT a WSLR+Fogartyville ticketed event.
