Spend a morning with the Riemers and their daughters learning what operating a ranch is like. There will be plenty of interaction with the sheep, cattle, chickens, turkeys and kittens. Participants will help move animals onto new pasture, collect eggs and learn how the Riemers care for their animals and land. Kids and adults can identify the birds, butterflies and wildlife attracted to the pollinator friendly pastures. Each participant goes home with eggs collected by them, in a reusable bag from the farm. Participants will have the opportunity to purchase other farm products. This session is kid friendly.
All kids over three need their own ticket. Kids under 3 free.
A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.
