Join Dela Ends to learn how to make simple cheeses at home. After many years of raising goats, her goat cheese rocks! You will make cheese with Scotch hill Farms goats milk as well as demonstrating making cheese with store-purchased cows milk. Class will also make simple queso blanco, mozzarella cheese and soft cream cheese. Price includes your own cheesemaking kit to take home. Kit value: $24.95.
Children (ages 12 and over) are welcome with ticketed adult and own paid ticket (for each child).
A free copy of Renewing the Countryside: WISCONSIN will be given away to every family, couple and/or household registered for a particular workshop (a $26.95 value); the free book giveaway is limited to one copy per residential address of attendees.

Pioneers in organic farming for 25 years, Scotch Hill Farm raises certified organic vegetables, herbs and flowers for their CSA (community supported agriculture) on a family farm. Chickens, sheep. goats and pigs add to the farm's diversity. Goat milk soap and natural skin care products are made on the farm. Surplus veggies are canned for the CSA and winter market sales.
CANCELLATION POLICY: NO REFUNDS. SOIL SISTERS has a no refund policy. You can, however, transfer your ticket to another person, provided that person is in possession of the ticket at the time of the workshop.
