Lyra Music Competition 2020

Join us for the Live Final Round of the Ninth Annual Lyra Music Competition! A Classical Music Competition for string players and pianists in two divisions: Junior Level (ages 11-14 )and Senior Level (ages 15-18).

In this Live Final Round all musicians will perform two classical music selections at the DiMenna Center in New York City. Competition 2020's distinguished judges will be: Estelle Choi, cellist; Jeremy Ajani Jordan, pianist and Kristin Lee, violinist. There will be a live audience vote taken in person and online at this Final Round. The audience vote will count as one of four jury votes!

Finalists will compete for cash prizes and scholarships to Lyra Music Workshop 2020, an intensive, nurturing, conservatory-style summer music program in residence at Smith College, Northampton, MA in July.

All winners for both divisions will be announced live at this event!
