Marina Crouse
"A new voice as strong as the best blues singers of the past as she sings with the intensity of a Koko Taylor, heartbreak of Etta James, raw emotion of Big Maybelle... Marina Crouse has all it takes to be the next top lady of the Blues"  ~ Noel Hayes, DJ at KPOO 89.5FM

"Marina Crouse is long overdue her day in the sun. This big, delicious voice deserves to be heard! Really soulful."
~Danny Caron, guitarist and former musical director with Charles Brown

Marina Crouse is one of the most notable talents on the San Francisco/Bay Area music scene. Her early classical training is reflected in her powerful and versatile vocal style that creates a genuine excitement in every performance. Blessed with an incredibly expressive voice early in life, Marina Crouse applies her distinctive talents to a wide range of material while delivering an emotional authenticity that consistently cuts deep. When I sing, she says, I feel like I break myself open and let a little piece of myself come out. Im reaching out to people with hopes to connect on a personal level. And when we do, that to me is better than anything else." Marina regularly performs in the Bay Area, sharing the stage with many notable Bay Area musicians, including Garth Webber, S.E. Willis, Ruth Davies, Pamela Rose, Tammy Hall, Danny Caron, and many others. This summer she performed at the Waterfront Blues Festival in Portland, Oregon with Ben Rice.

Garth Webber is a Berkeley-based guitarist/singer, known internationally for his signature tone, who has played with Miles Davis, Gregg Allman, Bill Champlin, Mose Alison, Robben Ford, Boz Skaggs, Merl Saunders, Bob Weir, Doctor John and others. His style is a mix of blues, jazz and rock. He has three Solo CD projects out and has played on many recordings for Bay Area artists. His style is modern but with a foundation in traditional blues.

John R. Burr is that rare pianist who combines jazz technique with a genuine love for folk music. His musical diversity has enabled him to tour and record with a variety of artists, including Maria Muldaur, the Alison Brown Quartet, Paul McCandless, Kenny Rankin, Robben Ford, and Michael Manring. His playing is as likely to be inspired by James Taylor or Doctor John as by Oscar Peterson or the Yellowjackets, although it is his love of folk music that has influenced him most. The Philadelphia Weekly said, Pianist extraordinaire John R. Burr has the most sparkling style since former Allman Brother-turned-Rolling Stone hired hand Chuck Leavell.

Steve Ehrmann was born and raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin, where he fell in love with Blues and Rhythm & Blues music, and began playing electric bass.  Since moving to Northern California in the 1970s, Steve has played in the bands of, among others, John Lee Hooker, Charlie Musselwhite, Roy Rogers, Elvin Bishop, Coco Montoya, Katy Webster, The Gospel Hummingbirds, Mighty Mike Schermer, Terry Hanck, Daniel Castro, Angela Strehli, and The Blues Broads.  He has also had the privilege of backing up blues and R&B/Roots Music greats: Lightnin Hopkins, Big Walter Horton, Johnny Adams, Earl King, Luther Tucker, Tad Robinson, Sista Monica Parker, Brownie McGhee, and many more.  Since the mid-1970s, Steve has enjoyed an on-going music association with slide guitar-master Roy Rogers, and for most of those years has performed with Roy as one of the DELTA RHYTHM KINGS.
