Old Jacks Last Saturday residency returns to The Lizard Lounge featuring a stellar monthly line-up of performers. As winner of the 2016 Boston Music Award for Residency of the Year, the band is proud to receive a nomination in 2017 and in 2018! Old Jack is a hard rocking' big Americana band. Dark Wheels sound is rooted in the traditions of the 70s and 80s, but occupies a stylistic and emotional space that is all their own. An extended search for a singer finally payed off with the addition of Dave Plante (The Ward Eights), who brings range and power that holds its own amidst the Dark Wheels guitar storm. Eddie Japan is currently Nominated, 2019 Boston Music Award: Live Artist of the Year and it's easy to see why. They present ".. a contagious attitude of doing it up, and doing it up right that you can hear in the carnival swirls of ultra-melodic pop, latin-flavored bravado and cinematic 70s UK rock."
