PRISM
Hivewild presents PRISM, an evening-length dance work built upon an interdisciplinary collaboration between choreographer Katherine Maxwell, visual artist Wardell Milan and musician Rowan Spencer. Investigating the relationship between personal perspective and temporal orientation; seven dancers will traverse amongst a texturally dense environment including a pile of casted limbs and a cascading mountainous sculpture by Milan accompanied by a live original score from Spencer. Premiering December 12-14 at the Center for Performance Research, PRISM is sponsored, in part, by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, administered by Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC).
