Bostons R&B ensemble Miss Fairchild is joyfully committed to The Show; spectacle, musicianship, awe and entertainment. Performing in the grand tradition of the Motown/Stax innovators of the 60s, and the glittery Pop-Funk icons of each succeeding decade, MF exists amongst a new tier of R&B showmanship.
In early 2019, Miss Fairchild released a new tough n funky single Kinda Serious on all popular streaming and downloading platforms. The new single juxtaposes its 60s Soul thump with squiggly New Wave synths and bombastic drums, while its protagonist attempts to turn the tables in his serious dilemma by posing the question, how can you afford to take me so seriously?
